SOPPY GOOEY EWWW URGHHH. OH WELL I DON’T CARE.

Even though the majority of two of the days of the weekend were spent working = and not being with Emma, who made her way down to Somerset, the time that was spent was the best. We exchanged V-day gifts like Christmas in the early hours of Saturday morning, I played part in, what I think, was the most epic rugby game of the season and also received a confirmation email from Truro with an interview date (The letter had arrived without me knowing and O Thomas, Emma and my mother spent ages, waiting with impatience and anticipation, even trying to hack my UCAS, to know what the letter held), me ‘n’ m’girl came home, sat around all happy and bubbly, ate Thai red curry and prawns, had our wine, watched a film and had ourselves a proper valentines day. I don’t care if Valentines day is a commercial event. If there is yet another reason to show off something that makes you smile from the inside out, then I will celebrate through and through.

We just had a lovely, memorable time and today we saw Mere, who arrived like a knight in shining armour to my house, sunk into my bed and demanded we watch Batman. And then Oli arrived whilst Emma and Mere had gone and told me that basically, he was completely high from his painkillers.
