I have my University interview on Friday morning and I’m really nervous. I’m not too bad with interviews as they are just basically talking to someone about why you want to do something or why you think you’re the right person for what they are offering. This shouldn’t be TOO difficult to talk about as I know why I want to take the course but I’m just nervous as I don’t know what I will have to support my interview in a way that is ‘better’ or more outstanding than any other candidate. I emailed the enquiries asking them if I needed to bring anything with me to the interview as, in the email and on the Truro website, they don’t state anything at all, and the woman has JUST emailed back saying, “Well bring a port folio if you have one” - DOES THIS MEAN I’LL BE OKAY WITHOUT ONE? I know I should have built one up a long time ago but it’s very annoying as it just doesn’t strike me as something I should do before cutting hair and it’s annoying in every way as it SHOULD be something I think of which makes me angry at myself. I only have pictures of my cutting hair either without clothes on and pissed or from college where the pictures would lead the interviewer to believe I am still in my first month of hairdressing.

Also, I am going to go and stay at Dan Allen’s house… Without him as he is away so I am going to get to Truro for 8 and then have to somehow navigate my way to his house to meet his flatmate that hasn’t even said anything to me about any plans. Fuck my life. 

Oh well, I will try really hard, I will try my best to make her believe that I’m not too shabby at hairdressing and maybe I’ll sneak her some money or drugs under the table to seal the deal, if University’s not for me, I guess I’ll just move to a different place.
